Default help with 350 raptor

I have a 2005 350 Raptor. I bought a new clutch lever and assy housing. I removed the parking brake lever as this unit replaces that. My question is, there is another cradle adapter that the clutch lever fits into that depresses a little pin. This housing does not fit onto my new housing. What is this braket for? I traced the wire but it goes into my wiring harness. The bike works fine with out it on. Any help? thank you.

Thanks for your response. The other bracket I was talking about has a little pin type mechanism that when the clutch lever is all the way pulled in, it depresses this little pin inside a housing. The new lever says it eliminates the need for the parking brake. So me and my son installed the new lever and assy today. Then I noticed this other bracket that the clutch lever sqeezes into. I just let it hang there while we tried it out. Doesn't appear to do anything. I just wondered what it was for or should I just cap off the connection?

no need to cap it.. just unplug it.. there should be 3 wires u unhook from the harnes.s.. 2 plug into each other than the 3rd one hangs... the cable that goes from the clutch to the rear brake.. take off and throw away.. pickup a Parking brake block off plate when u get $10 the parking brake is the biggest waste of space on a quad... although.. TORS is just as bad.. and when the PB is adjusted properly( to where it works) it prematurely wears your pads

Thanks so much for the info. I've had two older Warriors before this. This one is just a little different. Bought my son a 250ex and it seems to be a good quad for him. I bought this one used but it seem to be in good shape. We're mainly woods riders. Thanks for your help.
