1993 250 timberwolf,2x2 NO holdback in gear help

Default 1993 250 timberwolf,2x2 NO holdback in gear help

..well i have a great little 250 timberwolf 2x2 atv,,but the problem is that it has no holdback in gear while going down hill,can anybody help me what is the problem??
and yes the oneway bearing is good,,help please..thanks

Thats strange does it go in gear and go through the gears good?

the gears work perfect,shifting is smooth,no clucth slip just no holdback in gear going down a slope dont have to be real steap,

i had a 300 fourtrax do it the gears were worn on the end just barely but enough to make it free roll.

My bad.. I noticed you said the one way bearing was good. The only way you could have this problem is if the bearing was bad or if each and every gear had a problem with slipping out of gear. Did you take the clutch side cover off and see if the bearing really is working when you turn the back wheels?
