We run stock Banshee shocks with are ASR +3 +1's, on our Blaster. My son weighs about 105 and they work great. They are soft. But he hasn't had any problems of bottoming out. When he gets bigger, we'll probably look into getting some good Elkas or something. When I ride it, (230lbs) it doesn't bottom out, but I don't jump it either. (I believe I would hit the ground if I did.)
I believe if your lighter, you can get by with running some stockers for awhile. But I would sure be looking for some good aftermarkets.
