I just received the ignition coil and slapped it on it hopes it would solve the problem. No luck. Still won't start. The first time i tried starting it after i put it on it sparked once when i let off of the start button, but won't spark at all now. Any ideas of what else it could be?

Yeag, have you tried unplugging the rectifier to see if you get a spark then? I ended up unplugging mine and it started right up. After about 2 weeks of running it with no rectifier I plugged it back in and the problem was gone. This probably won't be your case but at least we will know whats wrong if that solves the problem.
