I have an 02 raptor 660 that one of my brother friends smashed into a rock and bent the frame. i ordered a new frame cause that was the only damage but i am wondering how i am going to get a vin number for the frame? the DMV jsut confused the crap out of me when i asked and it sounded way more complicated than it should be. has anyone done this? how does it work? i bought the frame new from a yamaha dealer.

 

You could've just asked the Yamaha dealer ...

 

why even waste your time writing that. you dont think i did. they wernt sure and told me to talk to the DMV. its still unclear thats why i asked here.
