Default Yamaha Blaster top end replacement

nothing is loose yet...and i recently replaced the plug before it broke. it was running after i replaced it.

it kicks normally....how would i go about doing a compression test?

If it kicks normally don't take anything apart yet. Go to a parts store and buy a compression gauge. Or ask some of your friends and borrow one. Get the kind you screw in. Bring it home and follow the instruction and see what number you come up with.

take the plug cap off and make sure the end cap is still on and not bent or broken off

everything is looking good. i'll go buy the compression gauge. but since i go to a boarding school i won't be able to do much til friday.

Default Yamaha Blaster top end replacement

ok i still have to pick up the compression gauge....but while i'm out i was wondering if i needed to fix my shocks. because my friends say that they suck. like when you put pressure on the back and front shocks it takes a second or two for them to go up. so like....what should i do? get new ones or tighten them or something? any help would be appreciated. thanks =]
