Could anybody tell me if a tri moto 125 engine will fit in a 175 frame, also if anybody knows where I can get yt 175 engine. thanks yamacrazy

 

What the heck is a YT? I've seen ITs, DT's and YZs, but never a YT. Is that a dirtbike? If I had to guess, in my experiences, it would probably fit, but not without some modifications. The 125 engine will probably be smaller, so the engine brackets probably won't line up exactly. But at least there would be plenty of room for it. It's the opposite senario you have, but about 14 years ago I tried to put a YZ 250 engine into a YZ 125 frame, and it didn't work. Everything looked exacly the same, but everything on the 250 was just a little bigger - big enough to where it would be aggrevating to make it work right. Back then I didn't have the fabrication skills so I gave up on the whole project.
