I was riding my quad one day but i guess i was on the throttle too hard for too long and the quad just died. I'm almost positive it's the top end because I just had it worked on (like inspected and cleaned) at a yamaha dealer.
Now I need to know how to install the gasket set. Any online sites or something?
Or should I just order a repair manual.
And I want to start modding my blaster too. I have an FMF exhaust pipe on there but i want to put on a fatty pipe and put in a jet kit and stuff. I just need to know how and where to start
thanks!

You need to pull the topend off and see what went wrong. More than likely you seized the piston, so when you take it apart you need to inspect your cylinder and piston for deep gouges. While you are in there you need to check the connecting rod bearing at the crank to make sure you didn't seize that up. Can you kick the engine over or is it locked up?

I was going to say hold up; but I guess that's too late.
Does this think kick over normal? Or does it kick over like there is very little compression?
Have you even pulled the plug? The plug can tell me a lot.
About the head studs. Yes the nuts are going to be tight. It's holding the head on and compression in the jug, so they have to be tight.
If you haven't broke anything loose yet, I would take Speedy2222 advice and do a compression test first.
