2001 Bear Tracker
I am still trying to find a service manual download online or from someone for the 2001 Bear tracker but in the mean time I was trying to purchase the parts I need to fix my atv. The seal around the rear axle that goes to my left rear wheel out of the rear differential is leaking. I am sure it is easy to fix, I just need to know what part to buy. Its a small leak, but I want to get it fixed. If anyone can get my a part number that would be great. The online microfiches are hard to understand as they show the differential without the rear axle in place so I dont know if the seal I need is on the microfiche for the rear differential or the rear axle.

On this online parts place
http://www.yamahaaccy.com/parts.aspx
the only oil seal is listed under rear wheel. That page shows the rear axle and does not show the diff. The drive shaft page shows the diff. and does not show the axle or oil seals. Put the oil seals on the rear wheel page in the shopping cart. There is a right and a left seal. Go to the shopping cart and it will show the part numbers. For $20 you can get a Haynes manual for the Bear Tracker at http://www.themotorbookstore.com/hayyamerandb.html
I have a Haynes manual and the factory manual. The Haynes is good to have if you are not an ATV mechanic. It tells you the tips you need to know to get the job done. Hope this helps. Ken
