Default '05 660 Grizzley front differential question

Hey guys, today I decided to check the front brakes on my Grizz and noticed something I wasn't sure was correct. With both front wheels off, the left hub spins nice and free, but the right hub turns much harder, and while it turns, well, the best way I can describe it is it "ratchets". Is this normal for hte Grizz ? I was thinking either I have a bad CV joint, or that's the way they all are and I'm just feeling the ring and pinion in htere. Thanks in advance for your help.

My grizzlies don't do that, but my `05 kodiak 450 does. The same side... I was wondering if it was a differential thing as well.

I'm in the process of fixing it back up after a horrible roll over and had stopped working on it because I noticed that. I talked to the mechanic at the dealership about it and he says that it does sound like a CV joint issue. Check both ends...
