Default 125 Yamaha Breeze

My sons quad float in the carb keeps stiking, sometimes in the close position and it starves itself for fuel and sometimes in the open position flooding the quad out and stalling it. I have played with it and cleaned it so many times and I am tired of stripping the carb out in the woods.

Any ideas out there on how to stop this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I would put a new needle and seat in it and set the float level. The needle and seat is actually what is sticking not the float. They could actually just be dirty, but if it were mine I would replace them. Usually the floats will just sink and then the needle and seat stays open. It may be worth replacing the float as well when you take it apart depending on what they cost.

Appreciate the advice, I figured it would need replaced but thought maybe there was something else I could do. Cleaning it doesnt help.
