All that money for one quad without 4 wheel drive. Sure it is fast on the straight smooth terrian but who is driving them on the street anyways! So sell your raptors and go get a true A.T.V. like the scrambler. It is not much slower but it more than makes up for it with TRUE 4 wheel drive and a lower price tag. So you will have the money to buy a winch to pull out your buddies raptor.

Well I can jump mine just fine. I guess it takes a real man to handle 570 lbs. So I guess the light wieghts need to stick to the lighter more gentle machines.

Maybe the Scrambler is cheaper so you can afford all the extended warranties!

YELLOW01SCRAM500- you stated "it takes a real man to handle 570 lbs." You must be talking about your fat girlfriend because the truth is a raptor, or 300ex,warrior, or even a lowly mojave 250 is a better sport machine than an AUTOMATIC beast like your scrambler. A true sport machine has a manual clutch, in my opinion. I don't own a raptor, or even a sport ATV (and neither do you), but I think the raptor is a great machine for it's purpose. I also think it makes a crappy mudding or rock climbing machine, but the people who buy raptors don't buy them for that purpose, much like a Quadmaster 500 owner doesn't think his/her machine is good for getting big air. I think you are just trying to stir up something, because I saw a remark in the Honda forum from you aimed at getting everyone rubbed the wrong way. Is this your way of venting your frustration or "buyer's remorse" at purchasing a Polaris? I have never seen a group so defensive as some of the Polaris owners-I also notice you and your fellow disenchanted Polaris brethren seem to like going into non-Polaris forums and bragging on your machine while bashing the make of the forum you are in. I know that not all the Polaris owners do this, but it seems that when this "pot-stirring" happens, it's a Polaris owner holding the spoon. Why don't you just enjoy your machine and let others enjoy theirs?

P.S. I saw your post in the Polaris forum- About wanting a suggestion on a pipe for more power- You wouldn't need more power if your quad weighed less, thats why a raptor will eat your lunch with around the same horsepower. Also the reason the stock exhaust on your brand new 01 Scrambler looks like it's 5 years old, as you put it, is because Polaris does not use high quality components in it's machines. Honda's new Rubicon has a full stainless steel exhaust, even the clamps. Once again, only responding to your attack on innocent non-Polaris owners.

shumdit had it right.

The definition of a sports quad (in my book) is Chain driven, manual clutch, 2 wheel drive ONLY
Be it 4 or 2 stroke, but 2 strokes are more of a sport to me
