I was just wondering which one you think will win in a straight line drag of about 200 yds. Does anyone know approximately how fast the 240 Blaster kit is and also the speed of of the 330ex. I know you are all tired of hearing questions about speed but I would like to know just for the heck of it. Reason being I have a Blaster and my cousin has a 300ex. Right now we a pretty close in drag and on tracks. We both are planning on putting these kits on and was just wondering if they would still be pretty close. Thanks in advance for any replys.

definatley the blaster in my opinion. its less than 100 cc difference and the blaster is lighter (i think) plus the blaster is 2 stroke and EX is four. most 2 strokes can easily take out a 4 stroke that is 100 cc more. case in point. i can beat warriors by a mile (not bashing warriors here its just an example) and their a 100 cc difference.

Rider ability plays the biggest role in ANY type of racing.

But if you want too break it down, there are several things too look at. Traction(2-strokes spin more), Over-all HP at the wheels, and HP vs weight. 4-strokes generaly get-the-jump on 2-strokes off the line, and then reel-in the thumpers later down the line. With a 330EX vs 240 Blaster, I believe the EX would get the classic 4-stroke jump, but it's a question on weather the Blaster has enough "top-end" too come back in the end.

(Anyone live close enough too me for a shootout?)
