Default 2000 warrior 350

i just bought a used warrior and its throttle response seems slugish and it seems to lack power the person i bought it off of said it had some aftermarket mods but he wasnt sure what they were all i know is that it has a supertrapp exhaust on it i checked the pilot screw on the carb and it was out 2 full turns but im thinking it might be the valves any help would be appriciated thanks

Most all Warriors are sluggish and slow![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] How slow is it? It ought to run around 56 MPH and get to top speed from a dead start in about maybe 20-25 seconds. If you have large rear tires or wrong size sprockets, they will slow you down. Ideal sprocket size would be 13-14 tooth front and I think 38 tooth rear.

also try cleaning the carb., and check the carb. boot and see if it has any cracks in it.
