hey guys i got a stock2003 banshee it has stcok carbs with a big linkange thing on top of each carb i never had this before i always had it removed when i bought bike but anyhow i broke a screw off and in the pross of fixing it i took thoses linkage thing aprt and noticed theres a switch inside against the linkgae it has a plug in coming from each of them to the clutch handel andto the throttel side i was just wondering what do these do these littil swtches inside each set up rite now i just unhook it and it runs fine i thought maybe it was a sfty feature the factory had to put on to seel any help here thanks a lot

 

1 word... TORS you can cut the wiring off for that right at the back of the boxes on top of the carbs, remove the tors box located next to the coil and the wiring from the throttle box can be removed, if u want to get a clean looking throttle( no hole from where the TORS was) you can run a warrior throttle

 

tors what purpose does it hvae being there if theres no reason to have them then i will take them off ..

 

it's basically a throttle positioning sensor... if the quad gets stuck at WOT it limits power or shuts it off i beleive.. every 2 stroke that i'v eseen that is modded has TORS removed...

 

get rid of the tors..... makes it alot easier to remove carbs,get ride of air box to !! unless your riding in mud..
