Default Bear Tracker Flooding

My Yamaha 250 Bear Tracker on start up runs for about a minute and then starts to flood and gas goes into the air box from the breather tube. I Removed the carb cleaned, and replaced the needle valve. Still flooding, HELP!

I'm having the same problem, I couldn't believe how much gas spills out into the air box! I was told it may be that the float in the carb. I will let you know what I found out.

It has to be the float needle or a holed float. Dirt in the fuel will cause it to do this, as will a faulty float needle. However if "the gas doesn't turn off when I turn it off" your fuel tap has a problem too, so fix that first. Also fuel should run out of the overflow at the bottom of the float chamber if the needle sticks, previous posters seem to have had it running into the airbox, the overflow pipe must be blocked, or raised above float bowl level for that to happen.
