Monika; thanks for your up-to-date information on quads on there way. This is good for the consumer; variety is the spice of life and with new quads coming in from all directions companies will be working pretty darn hard to stay in the race!!!!

I wouldn't buy a Crackendale for any amount of money. In DH moutain biking those bike sare as good as a bic razor. Use em once and toss them in the garbage. How can anyone buy a product that comes with a sticker on it that says please check periodically for stress cracks..geez
ANd i really don't think it can beat the raptor.

a i doubt it beat a raptor but its possible. despite what people say the raptor isn't all that fast. and that bcause it is really detuned out of the factory. if you tune it a bit you can get some speed out of it. raptors are my second favorite quad so i'm not bashing it or anything. the cannondale? it didn't beat it. but it has great power to weight ratio blah blah blah. i'll put it like this. even if it did beat the raptor i'd never EVER buy one looking the way it does. they may be high tech but in a few years they will be all but forgotten.

Well as a matter of fact cannondale has made the worst frame geometry yet in the mx field.Read the motorcross mags they dont jump to conclusions and purposly hype up whatever new bike just happen to be introduced like the lame quad mags do.They do real world testing not a $10,000 modded raptor against a $8,000 dollar modded ds come on what a waste of paper in that issue they always do that never make a comparison equal, they always do something more or extra to one of the bikes to leave reason for question and argueing for the readers.Let's face if they came out and stated that quad A. stock roosted quad B. stock in every way, then they would no longer be able to keep the suspense going which allows them to do bullshi# articles after bullshi# articles beating around the bush to sell more mags. There a rip off period.
However most of the mx mags state the truth and facts the first time. Why? Because the dirt bike crowd are so huge in numbers and have lots of factory sponsored races year round to do stories on and I believe there readers tend to be more mature and not so worried about which bike is the new king like the crap this forum is all made up of.Every mx forum I visit carries little brand bashing and no one really seems to care that the YZ is bike of the year and has 2mph top speed gain on the CR woopdy do you'll never see that 2mph gain on a close track let alone most woods.
Fact is the cannondale mx bike is the worst frame geometry, worst suspension, and worst powerband out of all the mx bikes sold today in it's class. The mags hate it most offroaders hate it and the cannondale salesmen hate cause nobody buy's it.So what's to be expected with there quad figuer it out I did!

While I HIGHLY doubt these far-fetched claims on the cannondale web-site I hope they are true.
After all will this make my Raptor any less powerful or fun to ride? Hell no!
I say it would be good for the sport quad market and customer base as a whole. It would raise the bar for performance and features we would be able to expect from the differenct quad manufacturers.
I don't mind buying a first year production run from a long-time proven manufacturer like Yamaha, but there's no way I would buy anything from a company like Cannondale that has yet to prove it's competance when it comes to making quads. I can imagine finding parts and service for these machines would be an adventure in itself for the first few years at least.
