Cannondale beats Raptor!!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. The problem with the Cannondale is gonna be parts. Compare a head of a Cannondale and the head (or whatever) to Yamaha, Honda or anything else, and it'll be twice as much. Guaranteed. That's the problem with new companies, the parts are gonna be hard to get and they're gonna be really expensive. I'm sure it's a great quad, it's just the availability of parts. I'd love to ride one!

Well, Ok thats fine by me. But I still prefer the look of the raptor over the FX400, My question is
how far where they racing and of course is the price less than $10,000? But really I think if they can actually build it, it will be a nice quad for people, provided they hold up and provided that any companies will build parts for aftermarket use. lets just wait until we actually ride one, If its like a Raptor it will be good.

Were you expecting Cannondale to say "our quad sucks, is ugly, and overpriced"... Of course they're saying it handles marvellous and performs great. I do believe them though. From Cannondale, the chassis geometry must be pretty good, and the engine is almost a new one, at least way more modern than the old Raptor and DS650.
If I had to consider the style of any sport machine...I'd get the DS. I don't like SuperFrog, neither SuperBug.
One more detail, the Cannondale is built for racing, not performance trail riding.
I wish I could see (and test) one for real. Competition can't be bad for the customers.

There's a few things that you all need to consider here. First of all this is all here say since there is no proof. Second there is no replacement for displacement. The Raptor has a 260cc advantage over the FX400. The Raptor is also seriously detuned. Try tuning that fuel injection after you bore, stroke, cam, and bump up the compression on the FX400. Good luck finding the software. The stock fuel/air mapping will only go so far. I'll stick with my carb., thank you.
