The quad was getting hot so I wanted to see if the fan was working and maybe the coolant sensor was bad. So I removed the plug from the sensor and jumped the plug with a wire the fan turned on and ran strong but then it started short cycling . The fan would run for a min at a lower speed then it did at first then shut off and then back on. But if I removed the wire and waited a min and pluged the wire back in it would run strong and the right back to the short cycling

Now I am thinking it is a relay but I don't know it there is a fan relay on the quad so maybe some one might have a digram of the coolant fan system any info someone can provide will be very helpful
