I have one on my Raptor and I am not happy with it so far. I ride at Dumont dunes and Glamis and it lets sand get by. You have to oil the S**t out of it to get any decent filtering. I am going to put the stock air filter back on. Anyone interested in my pro filter system? I bought a new air box, so I'll be gettng rid of the whole nine yards. Air box, lid, and filter system There is also a very noticeable, momentary bog(i.e. hesitation) when accelerating hard from about 1/4 throttle or running hard through the gears there is a hesitation between gears. I am running 25 pilots and 145, 150 mains with the needles raised one clip. Stock pipe. I was much happier with the stock setup.

Maynard,

You havta let us know how much guy.
Also, you are experiencing the same bog/hesitation that I first reported I had run into when the rage was to cut out the restriction in the snorkle. I never rejetted, just taped it back up. I'm fairly certain that the free flowing intake is causing a lean bog as you described.

I agree with you. It is a lean condition. I just got off the phone with Dynojet and they are in the final stages of releasing a kit. They are waiting for the needles. They set their raptor up w/o the snorkel. I could not get any numbers from them yet but if it is like the kit I bought for the 400ex, it improved starting, throttle response, and smooth acceleration. for the 400 they calmed 2 - 4 hp, and it felt like it.

I dont think im going to do anything to my raptor. It runs MINT stock and has plenty of ***** as is.I was really thinking of going with the big gun quite exaust but I dont want to go through with all of the other stuff that needs to be done when relacing the exaust like jetting, air filter yada yada yada.Think ill just keep it stock.
