The switch on my Warn 2000 makes a noise that sounds like a spark when I use it to raise and lower my plow. It's been doing it since I got it. Last night the switch didn't work and I started the machine and after about 15 minutes it worked fine. Has this happened to anyone. I think my switch is going bad. Thanks for any help.

I've had the same problem that mysteriously disappears after a few minutes of running the machine. My best friend has experienced the same thing. I haven't delved into it very far yet, but it sounds as if there is a loose connection inside the switch, or there is dirt, or something conductive allowing the electricity to arc across instead of through the contacts. When, and if, I figure it out, I'll let you know.

I took the switch off today and there's not much in there. There are 4 connections that are held in place by nuts. It looks fine but it's not. I called my dealer today and he says he'll talk to the mechanic to see what he thinks it could be. I did it again twice today.
