Default Snorkel dress up?

Hi all, forever Honda guy about to buy a 2006 Grizzly 660.
Haven't ridden it much other than around the dealer's yard that's got it for sale, so I'm sure this is just the tip of an iceberg of questions!

The previous owner has put a snorkel on the belt drive air intake (which I understand is a good thing). However, the under-the-bathroom-sink-plumbing sticking up in front of the meter is a bit unsightly (IMO of course)
Has anyone done anything different with the elbow up top that looks a little less industrial?

Thanks for the great forum-Lots of info here!

Along with beauty usually comes increased cost. You could get thin wall stainless steel tubing mandrel bent into a "U" and fitted to the intake.

ABS pipe is inexpensive and works well. If you don't like the look of it or the writing on it just paint it with any color vinyl paint or automotive paint with flex agent added.

You may be able to find a sleeve to go over it like a shock cover or large wire loom.

You're right-I guess it will be fairly easy to make it look less obtrusive. Never crossed my narrow mind to make what's already there look better-I immediately went into "replace it" mode.

A black shock boot from Rancho or somebody might be just the ticket!

Thanks for the tip.
