Default Blaster Troubles

Last week I had my sons Blaster out on the dunes. During the ride it just quit running like someone just turned it off. I got it started again with a few kicks and headed back to camp. About half way back it did the something, just died like it lost power. After a long tow back to camp I pulled the plug and swapped it with a new one. The quad still refused to run. I then pulled the plug and checked for spark, good. After getting the quad home I pulled the carb and cleaned it out good, still didn't run. I pulled the kill switch and checked that it wasn't shorting out, still didn't run. When I kick the bike over I can see the oil light light up briefly so I know it's getting electricity. After several kicks it will make a puff out the exhaust pipe but it never fires. I also tried starting fluid with the same results. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jarret

Default Blaster Troubles

Did you happen to check the compression. When it restarted the first time did it have the same power. Our Blaster did what sounds like the same thing, and it did restart for just a little. Needless to say I had to put a new piston in.
On our second blaster it just quite but didn't restart, this ended up being a broken reed.
Hopefully it will be something simple

Gas line is good, I tore the whole Carb apart and cleaned it out. Gas makes it all the way to the bowl.

I have not checked the compression yet, need to get a gage. They are brand new V-Force reeds that I have used for 3hrs max, I pulled them and they look good. I have a Blaster Manual on order but can anyone tell me what the compression is supposed to be?

I also have a TORS eliminator kit on the way with a carb rebuild kit just in case.

No it had plenty of oil in the tank. I just ordered the TORS eliminator, oil block off and a carb rebuild kit. If its the top end I will get it rebuilt, has anyone ever used these guys? $159 seems very resonable to me.

Called a shop about the compression, it takes a minimum of 90psi for it to even run and 140-160psi is a stock setup.
