no ignition switch

Default no ignition switch

my neighbor bought a yamaha 200cc 4 wheeler with the switch cut off ,someone tryed to steel it , looking for wire diagram or witch one to use to start , for lights ect. any help is greatful.

tell him he should go to yamaha or look on ebay for a switch, or yamaha can get him a electrical manual. I would not try splicing wires together to start it, that could cause more problems than it will fix.0

he only gave 50 bucks for it ,i dont think he cares if he tears it up , he can part it out and make more money

yea what ctateusa1 said but you can still start it without the ignition all you have to do is find the solenoid and take a screwdriver and make it contact both sides and dont worry it wont shock you but yea and it should start up if nothing else is wrong because thats how mine is its got no ignition but i start it up from under the seat
