Custom Hybrid Blaster Warrior YZ250 Motor Swap DynO TEST
swapped a yz250 motor into a blaster, replaced rear swing arm with warriors swing arm along with warriors disc brakes and rear axle...
Dyno tested modestly. pushing 30HP at the rear wheels at 5000RPM
have not taken it to the 9000 rpm mark where at the rear wheel I should get a 40HP or more reading.... stock a YZ250 motor pushes somewhere around 47HP at he crank and about 40 at the rear wheel...
Video can be found here!
more coming soon!

no , the frame has some custom welds for the exhaust mounts.... you probably could figure out another way but its pretty simple to just weld some brackets onto the frame.
Obviously one thing you will want to do once you get the motor installed is test your setup... Depending how you feel maybe adjust your sprocket size, there are a ton of possibilities here. When I have more time I will post some pics...
I would have to say before I go the warrior rear end and the warrior disc brakes is the most dramatic of ride changes...
To simply answer your question, yes it pretty much is drop a motor in and bolt it down... like i said you may have to make a few custom welds but really this is nothing.

I would think less then a yz250 motor... Stock I believe the 200cc motor that comes in the blaster pushes 17hP... So I would assume maybe somewhere around 22-25hp bored out.. someone have any idea?
