wolverine 450

The only time I have ever had a problem with mine is when I went into a creek backwards and couldnt shift it back into drive without getting completely wet and submurged the back end of the seat which filled up the airbox and drowned the quad. I had water in the carb and the clutch housing(it came over the vents so it did not leak in though).

As ctateusa1 explained the water in the carb is the problem I had this happen to me lots. then I got clever and snorkeled my vent lines. If your like me and can't stay out of the mud and water this a good idea.

I am new to this forum, and somewhat new to atv's in general.
I have a 07 Wolverine 450, and love it.
I have seen reference to several things that I am interested in obtaining and modifying.
The CMP racks, and a winch are my two main items that I want to add first. Someday maybe the 488 kit, but that is out of my league for now.
I searched for the CMP racks for a while, and was unsuccessful. Does anyone have part number or website that has good price?
Any input on best winch?

I like my cmp front rack, but the back is a little too long for me too fit inside the bed of my truck. The 488 kit is very nice so far but I dont have it broken in yet to comment on the top end speed.
I bought the CMP rack from them directly.
It is cambrigde metal and plastics I believe.

Thanks. I found http://www.cambridgemetalsandplastics.com/ earlier, but I get a DNS lookup error. Same as if it did not exist. Maybe just a problem today. I will check back later.
