Better turning in trails?

Better turning in trails?
I have a bit of trouble making decent turns in the trails, I was wondering if I get a lowering kit for the front, and 1.5" wheel spacers on each side of the front. Would I get better turning? Will this lowering and wheel spacing decrease power sliding?
With a lowering kit, will I loose my suspension travel, and the ability to jump?

Jester, both the lowering kit and the wheel spacers will aid in turning/handling. There will be little effect on sliding ability, although the quad will be much more stable while doing it. The downside is that both of those mods aren't a good choice if you are going to be jumping anything much over a few feet. If your quad is all stock, you may want to look into some performance tires (Holeshots, Razrs, etc.) on aluminum wheels, and maybe get a bigger offset on the new wheels for width. Try that out and see if you still want to go wider. Chances are just upgrading to better tires will be a big improvement for you, with extra width from new wheels being a bit of cake.

This may sound elementary but if you focus on setting your seal up for a corner and learn how to plan where you are going to need to be in advance you will be faster and safer. In other words plan the next corner before you are out of the one you are on. Skill can be as big a part of it as mechanics. Just a thought.

Thanks for the tips, I am putting an order on for a set of razrs, but I haven't found a set of rims, that would make me want to spend the extra money on them. I was just going to mount the tires onto the old rims.
Also I am not talking huge doubles and stuff, just some home made back yard jumps, but first I am gonna try new tires, because even on my old quad, I feel they giver a more aggressive feel, and it helped me with turning also.

Offset/width is what the wheels will give you. You won't pick up quite as much width as wheel spacers, but it is a cleaner look and better for jumping. To save money you could go with .160" rims, those wouldn't be a whole lot more than spacers anyway. For aggressive riding and if you have a tendency to nick trees or ride with a lot of rocks, pay up front for the .190s. I really think between wider rims and better tires, you might not need any other mods to be satisfied.
