Default Which tires would be best for Yamaha Grizzly 700?

I plan to get a Yamaha Grizzly 700 FI with EPS next year, and plan to get new tires with it and have a question. Which tires would be best? I ride a lot of trails, and a good little bit of mud. The deapest that I've had my Honda was a little over the fenders, but that was in water(I have had it in actual mud just over the tires, and it has 25s on it). I will have to ride hardtop quite a bit, but if I have to, I'll put the stockers on when I have to ride on the blacktop. I'm leaning towards the itp mudlight 27"xtrs, but do they gum up easily in mud, and how fast do they wear?
(I probably won't get those anyway because of the over $100 price tag). thanks in advance

I would proably get the 27" and probably get the mudlight xtrs because they seem to be one of the best I have heard of for mud and hardpack dirt. With getting an extra set of wheels I would not worry about swapping back and forth between the too really for riding on the blacktop.

Get the 27" XTR's and never look back. There the best all around and the best trail tire on the market. Spend the extrs $100 cause you"ll get that out of them during the life of the tires. I've got over 500 miles on mine and still look great. I'll never buy another tire again. Even at 68 mph there is no shake or vibation at all.

27" 589s... This question has too many variables... You'd have better luck asking which girls are hotter... blondes or brunettes...

try to ride some different sets of tires... see what you like.

Come on Hebs... Brunettes are Hotter

With the Grizz 660/700's you can easily put 27"s with no issues..

I agree, too many variables for sure... I am fortunate that a guy I knows has the 26" Mudlite XTR's on his '05 Kodiak 450 and his rig is stock like mine.. so he will allow me to ride his to "check it out" I am leaning towards the XTR's just haven't decided upon the 26" ones or not..
