I dont see why you couldnt install them yourself. For the piston you will need to have someone bore the sleeve and then you should be able to replace it yourself with just a ring compressor, and some pliers to remove the circlips from the old piston pin and install the new piston pin. The cam should be pretty easy if you have a small slide hammer. I would bet with a stage 2 you need to replace the valve springs so you will need a spring compressor to replace them.
If you dont have a service manual I would definetly suggest getting one.
And dont forget all the extra stuff you need, cylinder gasket, base gasket, oil filter, oil, and coolant.

yea im getting the cylinder bored by a machine shop. and yea i will purchase a ring compressor, and with the stage 2 cam it says you can use the stock valve springs, so im going to i think.. and im getting a service manual in the next couple days, but is there anything i should look out for when taking apart my motor or adjusting my valves or anything, this is my first motor i would have taken apart. thanks

no with a good service manual you should be set. I just know as far as with the valve springs, I upgraded the cam and springs on mine just to make sure I did not have any valve float at higher rpms.

yea, do you think it will make that big of a difference, im kinda hurtin for money but i dont want to do all this **** and find out im gonna damage anything or not get full potential of my motor becuase i cheaped out. there only like 140$ right?

if the valves float on high rpms there is a chance that the head could wear prematurely, or that the piston could come in contact with the valve causing damage.
If I was you I would probably skip on the ring compressor because you could probably do the rings by hand like I usually do.

I'd vouch for getting new srpings- don't cheap out there. You'll be kickin' yerself if ya do and then hafta take everything back apart for a bent valve- or worse. Just because ya skipped a few bucks on the springs.............
