Hole in Yfz case??

well im not sure it it would work in this case or not..ill post pics up later to show exactlly what i mean but a piece right under where the shifter bolts in chipped off and i dont know if JB would work...anyways ill post pics up tonight to show everyone

if it connects to the hole where the shifter goes in I agree replace the case before you have further problems such as misalignment of the shifter and tear up the trans.

Almost all crankcases are together when machined at the factory. In most cases they won't sell just one crankcase half. You can mis-match cases but you have to be really careful and check things over as you rebuild. The best thing would be to find out if anyone else has tried it on a trail machine.
