it gives me a burp then falls on its face, if i engage the clutch i can save it from dying but otherwise it would just cut off. what could this problem be? i ran some sea foam through a full tank of gas, but it still wont run properly. im thinking its bad air fuel, maybe the jets are clogged? the four wheeler sat since it was new (98) the owner bought it then went to jail and he gave it to us for 1400 but its starting to be a pain in the tail pipe.

sounds like carb issue to me. iether clogged passages or improper jetting. if it was sitting since 98 theres a very good chance you have some varnish in there. if fuel isnt treated with staybil or a similar product as gas ages it turns to varnish and hardens in small passages (like your idle jet which would be in use when you hit that throttle from low RPMs)
