I have not been able to try top speed on it as I am still breaking it in, but so far the acceleration and power is so much better that is not even funny.

Now how much of the power increase do you think just came from the new cam and head porting?

I think so, I wanted more power, I knew it wasnt cheap(I didnt quite think the labor was going to be so much but oh well)

I wish yamaha would have made it 500 to start with but they didnt so I did

I know the cam is only made for the 488 kit that I installed. I know that there is a cam for the wolvy but I dont know how much of a gain you would really get from just it without adding any more bore.

Thanks guys I appreciate it, well i got another 5 miles on it and I am definetly loving the 488 kit, with my fat @$$ (205lbs and 6'1") on the handlebars it will pull a wheelie up the hill outside my house(it would not do it before with a lot of effort now it does it with little to no effort). I hope this weekend I will be able to put some more time in on it and be able to try out top end and let you guys know what I end up with.
