Wolverine FST 488 kit installed REVIEW

jeeze, it took 2 weeks to have my parts shipped to me, on the machine work for the crank it would have taken like 6 weeks, but he had the cam in stock so I just went with the 488 kit and did not do the stroker because for 12cc it would have cost me another 350.00 plus more labor.

barely had a chance to ride it really, but I did change to the yamalube semi synthetic oil this weekend.
I really am enjoying the 488 though with its added power, I can pull wheelies with no problems, on smaller hills all you gotta do is hammer it and itll bring the front end up. I did some reverse wheelies this weekend when it wasnt raining a monsoon here and then today with it being 20 degrees with 40mph winds. The only thing I cant really comment on is the trail manners as I havent gotten to ride any trails yet.

Do the hauck kit, you wont regret it at all. Im hitting 58/59 now without a problem...Im going to try it with my gps later this week to see how fast Im really going, not just what the speedo says. I raced my dads foreman 500 again and its not even a contest, I beat him before....but now its like he is on a powerwheels.
I raced my buddys grizz 700 a while back and I hung with him until 25-30 and he pulled a litte ahead after that, he topped out around 62 and I topped at 59...so its a pretty close race considering his is a 700 and mine is a 450.

pretty good I have not had any problems with mine at all yet. Over 50 miles on it already. With the epi clutch kit it puts more pressure on the belt and it doesnt slip at all.
Without the clutch kit it would probably still be ok though.

Chris I want to ride your bike! We should find some trails half way between Arkansas and New Mexico and go for a rip. Or maybe I shouldn't ride your bike because it will only make me need to spend even more money

I would love to make a trip out that way. I have a trip going to michigan this spring so im taking the wolvy and probably my old moto 4 up there to do some trail riding. Id definetly let you ride my bike if I get over that way. If you ever make a trip over to branson MO or somewhere in arkansas look me up and well go riding. There is a couple of good parks around here.
