Default Better top speed.

Not sure what will give me a faster top. I currently have a 03 660 Raptor with 15 tooth front sprocket and 40 tooth rear. What can I get a faster top speed with. I currently run a 22X11X10 inch rear tire. Will the stock 9 inch rear tire give me a faster top speed?

Yes a small rear tire is easier for the motor to turn. Then gear up as much as you can. A smaller rim for a given size tire is also a little lighter too. So yes, Going to a 20" or even 18" will make it faster.

Or if they make a 16 tooth sprocket for the front you could do that also, will give you top end.

Why do you need more top speed? Why is 70-something not enough?

And those 22 inch rear tires look horrible on the Raptor. If you want to mud get a 4X4.

not necessarily its all about sprocket size and the outside diameter of your rear tire.i would recommend a 16 tooth front, 39 tooth rear or both.4 speed bigger n the front smaller in the rear. its the opposite 4 acceleration

I would probably go up one in the front and if you still need more top end then go down one in the rear.

If you dont need the ground clearance then drop the rear tires from 22 inch down to either 21 or 20
