Any do the $69 a month financing????
If its a credit card, just tranfer the balance to a 0% credit card in 2010. Then you have another yr or so at 0%. Then transfer again for another yr and so on. Discover actually gave me a 0% for life deal. The hitch is I have to make 2 purchases a month (which they apply a finance charge), but who cares if I only buy something that costs 50 cents. Another hitch is the minimum payment is over $100. But still, it will take me over 5yrs to pay it off by paying the min payment and my finance charge will probably be less than $20 for the life of the loan. .... and I have the money to pay it off in a savings account earning interest that will well offset any finance charges. So,,, there's always a way to play the system.

You're right Chris , but in my case seven year's was Feb. this year since my Chapter 7 was discharged ., so by law i could file Chapter 7 again tomorrow if i wanted to !
I have over $9,000.00 in unsecured credit card debt right now , not counting my AC payment's whitch the quad is the collateral for the loan on it , but i didn't want to file the Chapter 7 in 1999 and it was discharged in feb. 2000 ; when i did it in 1999 but i had over $42,000.00 in unsecured credit card debt because of medical condition's !
It took one stay in the hospital to put me back in debt $20,000.00 again , so it's easy to say don't do it again ; when all you can do is pray it doesn't happen again !
And because i was Totally and Permantly disabled and drawing a small disability check from my SSA disabilty since March 2nd 1975 when i lost both leg's just below the knee's , so take it from one sucker it doesn't take a fool to fall upon hard time's ! ...............

Rule #1 with credit cards: Never charge what you don't already have!
If you don't obey rule #1, you are gambling on the fact that you will have an income and that you won't have any other bills pop up in the mean time. You might as well take a trip to vegas.
Yes, many times there are balance transfer fees, but they are only on the order of $75. And it is always a one-time fee.... Never every month. Some times balance transfers are free, just depends on how bad the bank wants to lend you money.
The reason I have a balance on my discover is that MBNA (now its bank of america) loaned me 7700 at 0% for a yr. They charged me a $75 fee. I took $7000 and bought a 14 month cd at 5.25% and that paid me $450 at the end of the 14 months. The other $700 I put into savings. After the yr was up for the loan, I transfered the balance from MBNA to discover at 0% for life. For the first 6 months balance transfers are free. So, as long as I make my monthly payments and make the required 2 purchases a month, I should walk away with a profit of about $375 and have a loan financed for 5yrs for almost free.
The deals are out there as long as you don't gamble with your credit. Many cards pay cash back for purchases. Pay your bill off in full and they give you cash at the end of the yr. Lots of good incentives to obey rule #1.

You're right about that Jay if you can pay it off in two year's that's a great deal , but some people who purchase a new quad on these low payment plan's don't think that far ahead
are has an emergency of some kind that prevent's them from paying the quad off in 2 yrs. !
Then they get stuck paying more in the end , but the same thing can happen ; no matter how long the Finance or how low the payment's are it can come down to the rolling of the dice .
And there are other thing's like Insurance , all Major Finance Companies and Bank's here in Ga. require full coverage Insurance
even on a quad ; Here is what i have on my 2006 Arctic Cat 400 Fis Auto 4x4 !
1.Bodily injury - each person : $100.000
2. Bodily Injury - each accident : $300,000
3. Property Damage - Each Accident : $50,000
4. Phyical Damage - Comprehensive :ACV
5. Comprehensive Deductable : $250.00
6. Included Accessory Coverage : $1,000.00
7. Physical Damage - Collision : ACV
8. Collision Deductible : $250.00
9. Safety Apparel Coverage : $1,000.00
10. Saftey Apparel Deductable : $50.00
And i don't know what your premium would be in Ohio, but here in Ga , the first year Preminum was $124.00 for me and the second
year was $110.00 ; and drop's a little each year i keep it covered !
And my fair market value is : $5900.00 that's more than i paid for the quad , you might get lower Preminum's in the state you live in ; if you add the atv to the policy you have your Automobile coverage with your current Insurance Company !
That's what my brother did when he bought his 2004 Honda TRX350FM Rancher 4x4 , and that's what i intend
to do in Jan. 2008 ; if it's cheaper to just add it to my Automobile's policy !
I bought mine from Rider Insurance here in Ga. , but just check for the best price you can find ; but don't skimp on the coverage and good luck and i hope you love your ride ! ..............
