Or you have a bad master cylinder. If it stops good who cares?

yea that's true i thought that too as long as it stops which it does. now about needing to rejet instead rejetting and moving my neddle up would it be ok if i just changed my air mixture??? or would that still cause the same problem. if i need to rejet and move my needle up than i'll do it i'm just looking at my options.

You need to make more adjustments than just the air mixture screw. Once you get the jetting close then you can fine tune with the air mixture.

As for changing jets in summer and winter, here in North Carolina the winter temps could get down to 10 and in the summer it could get up to 105 degrees. I keep the same jets all year and I jet mine more for the winter so that I'm not running too lean when it's cold. I ride more when it's cold or mild anyway than when it's hot. But you're better off to be too rich in summer than to be too lean in the winter. Being too rich will not blow up your engine but being too lean will. The worst thing that could happen if you're too rich will be your engine runs a little rough or you foul a plug.

ok so should i just rejet and not worry about the needle or should i still move the neddle??? when i get the jetting done how will i know when my air mixture is right??? should it sound a certain way???

i live in south jersey and the winter and summers are about the same as where you are. so if i just jet it to the next size up i should be able to leave that jet in rught??? i also ride in the cooler weather mainly spring and fall somtimes in the summer if it's not to hot and winter if it's not too cold. yea i noticed that this past summer i was fouling plugs left and right. i always thought that was a bad thing cause i was fouling plugs every 3 or 4 rides. i don't want to have to go through that again. but i guess too rich is better than too lean.

so just let me know once again exactly how to fix it.... and i really appreciate your help.

I would do the jet change and the needle change seperately...Doing too many things at once is confusing when trying to trouble shoot a carb..One or the other may be enough...I would try the larger main jet first...Your plug should be a nice brown/tan colour..Your bike should not be fouling plugs..I have had my warrior since 2004 and I have yet to change the original plug.

I could be wrong, but the way I understand how a carb works is that when you are 0 - 1/4 throttle you are running on the pilot jet, 1/4 - 3/4 throttle you are running on the needle jet. When you are wide open you are running on your main jet. So you need to change the needle position and the main jet so that your jetting is right 1/4 -wide open throttle. Pilot jet is no big deal to leave it alone. Raising the needle will richen the needle jet and putting in a bigger main jet will richen the wide open throttle position.

Technically you are correct but installing a larger main jet will make it richer across the entire range..Otherwise the larger main would have no affect until you were wide open which is not true..I would replace the main jet and then if needed try fine tuning with the needle.
