as far as the factory skids it has plastic a-arm skids, belly skid and a little metal rear diff skid. The GYTR aluminum ones are so much better that its not even funny. And they dont weigh that much more.
Rad cover is GYTR also from the local yamaha dealer 79.95 I think.
You know me too good drifter.

The only things Ive done so far are a K&N Filter for 50 and the radiator guard for around 80 bucks. Iam getting ready to pull the primary sheeve out and send it off, that will increase gearing, low and high, Iam doing it mainly for better top end speed. Right now I have rain blowing thru my car-port and cant work on it so it may be Sunday before I can pull it, the weather here lately has been really crappy. I agree with the other guys on the skid plates, but Ill probley wait till spring/summer to get them, so far I havent needed anything more than the stock ones, the new wolverines have plenty of ground clearance even with the stock 23 inch radial which I love and when needed will replace with the same. BTW your step-mom is awesome, I got a Ridgid 18 volt drill/driver kit and am also very fond of my step-mom

Hello my brother has a brand new wolverine and he put on itps mudd slingers. Also if you have any problems with the rear end leaking from the breather yamaha had a recall that they are trying to stay quite about just go to the dealer and ask for the part that prevents the problem. they will say they have no idea but take my word for it, if they dont get the part your rear end will run dry. Good luck and have fun!
