Not a problem and I definetly agree with you on the fact that you can definetly bend a rod on anything by hydrolocking it.(we had a $50k acura in the shop last year with 2 bent rods due to driving through a low water crossing.)
I think a lot of it has to due with what rpm you are running and also how long the rod is(I would think a longer rod would bend easier)
Mine went under at pretty much idle so I knew I couldnt have hurt it bad.

What is HYDROLOCKED ? ive sunk my raptor 4-5 time's up to the top of the seat and do the normal route pull the spark plug out and flip it on end turn over to pump out watter take the air filter out get it dryed up and go on and ive have to yet have any problems mine..
