Well. I went down and talked to a guy that actully races and he told me it wasn;t worth it. He said all it did was make it louder......and the sound wasn't all that grand. I cant really have a louder ATV.....i already **** alot of people off when i go blastin around.

Thats true dude... it really doesn't do anything but make it a bit louder. But... I've bought other aftermarket pipes on at least three different occasions and they've really done nothing but make the bike louder at 300% of the price compared to the powertip. But yeah, if you don't want a louder bike save you dough.

I have a 2004 Kodiak 450. Do u like your EPI clutch kit? What has it done for your bike. I have a webcam, a HMF pipe and it is jetted.
Thanks

The epi clutch kit will give you more low end torque, it helps with when you are stuck and cant get the tires to spin(or if you like riding wheelies it makes it a lot easier)

You will lose a few mph on top end because all the epi clutch kit does is change the engaugement points of the factory clutch.

I wasn't gonna do it till ctateusa1 talked me into it... I'll never regret it. My bike seems like it has come alive. I don't notice alot in the deep mud as I'm a beleiver that if you're stuck... you're stuck. But on the trails where there are logs or rocks and small burms that my chums with bigger bore bikes like 700 etc. would wheelie over efortlessly with a quick shot of gas, I'm doin' the same.

Put it this way... The clutch kit was as much as a brand name pipe that I had on my 400 Kodiak, I didn't have the kit in my other bike... just the pipe. Now that I've done it the other way around this time with the 450 I wouldn't change my mind back to just a slip on pipe. Get the clutch kit and a Powertip if you want your bike to preform and be a little louder the cost is the same almost as a Big Gun or simmilar slip on. The results on the otherhand are far more effective.

It has Bark and Bite now instead of just Bark.
