cstark, Ya I just started at the end of the 00 season with HS, I raced mx bikes for years and did farley good won some series events and placed high in the states. As for harescrambles the reason I am getting into them is I am tired of going to the mx track and waiting to race your there all day and only race two motos! With HS I did and am going to race my bike 1st 2hours and then my quad you get alot of riding and there is no waiting to race I only have a 1 hour break inbetween the 2 and I need it.hehe So far I have only raced 2 harescrambles at a track in pa (switchback) but this year I am going to run the whole series in district 5 here in pa. The first Hs I raced on my CR and my Scrambler 5004x4hehe and I took a 2nd and 3rd. The next one right after I busted up my ankle on a MX track I raced my new 01 kx250 and my raptor with the bikes I couldnt get it started so I was last going into the woods and I ended up 5th, on the raptor I had the whole shot but got T-boned and ran over once back on my raptor I went into the woods in last and I had a hard time because it was my 1st race with my twist throttle on my quad and it was a Motion Pro Vortex throttle 1/4 throttle and it was real touchy (this was the first I ever rode with a twist throttle on a quad) the track was real tight and I was out of controll for the first 30 minutes due to the twist throttle untill I got use to it anyway I ended up 20th I think didnt really care due to all the problems I had but it was fun and I was real tired after 2hours on my bike and fighting my quad around with that 1/4 throttle on. I still have it on but at least now I'll have time to get use to it in the tight stuff on the track the 1/4 throttle works great!

I race District 23(Minnesota)in both XC and MX.
"A class" for XC, 200/0-350 and 250/400 for MX.
XC is my favorite type of racing, and I concentrate more on winning in those events. MX is just for fun. It's great practice and something too do.

Bartolo, Jetting is perfect nice and brown and yes the differance is sensational I never expected it from the exhaust. I was pulling steep long hills in 2nd and 3rd with stock gearing where as before I would have been in first!
