I checked my carb boot last night without removing it from the bike and could not see any visual cracks or splits in the peice. by the time i get off its pretty much dark and my artificial light isnt kickin it for a good inspection of my bike. Im going to work on it this weekend for sure if i dont get it done tonight, i cranked it up and all was fine but i doubt i ran it long enough to experience the issue.

ok cool, let us know how it goes. also make sure your crankcase breather hose is connected to the pipe that comes off the snorkel for the air box. mine was cut too short when i noticed it so i went to the hard store and bought 9 in. of rubber vinal tubing to fix it.

yeh, i was guessing that, but i told myself it couldn't be b/c the floats would NEVER have caused what that guy was describing...floats being stuck would either stall the engine, lack of gas, or make it leak gas out of the over flows for the bowl...interesting.

Yeah i sprayed some lube down the down the throttle cable line, checked my entire air system for leaks and found none. Went for a ride saturday and rode hard for six hours and it didnt do it once!!! So im hoping that the problem is fixed, although i am about to do a rebuild and and replace the throttle cable and clutch cable, rebuild the top end and do whatever else needs to be done. thanks for all the help.

something to watch on those warriors and wolverines, the throttle cable can fall and rub on the exh. pipe, if it happens and breaks through the rust inside it can make it stick...maybe what happened with yours, who know...glad it got fixed though, kudos
