Now engine wise are these pretty much the same manual..I'm looking to do a lot of head work on my Wolvy soon and the Yamaha manual is crap..I know Clymer does not make a manual for the 99-03 Wolverine..Can I use another in place of it??

The similarities are limited. Some of the specs will be different I think, mainly specs for the valvetrain because I think the stock cams are different. Other than that I think the top ends are the same, but thats where your similarities will end. Almost all of the bottom end is completely different.

I just noticed in your signature that you're running 24" front tires and 25" rear tires on a 4x4 machine. Why would you do that? Ever time you ride in 4x4 your drive system is going to be fighting itself because the front wants to turn faster than the back...

My Wife bought them for me :/ they diden't sell rear 24" Mudlites, she knows I wanted 24" so the guy talked her into the 24" on the front and the 25" on the back..Its been pretty dry around here in the summers so I pretty much ride with my set of OEM's..I have those on now,but I rarley use 4x4 where I ride,My club grooms the trails a little too well now lol..I plan on getting 4-25" Mudlites this spring lol
