The Warn 4.0 with synthetic rope and a wireless remote is $800. Sure guys, go get yourself one. Run right out there and buy one today. I just priced one out for the Rhino, and couldn't believe how much they want for them. Even if I got the less expensive 4.0 winch with a wired remote and the steel cable, by the time I got a winch mount to go with it I was looking at just over $750. You can buy a Warn M8000 winch for a Jeep for less than they want for their 4.0 ATV winch.
The Warn 2.5 winches on our Grizzlys have always been enough for us. But we don't have mud where I live. Its either dry rocks, wet rocks, or snow covered rocks around here, so the winches don't have to break the suction of deep mud, they only have to help an ATV up the side of a rock covered mountainside that the ATV cannot climb on its own.
