Wolverine 450 power question
#1
Is it worth it to put a k&n air filter and dynojet kit on without putting a pipe on the wolverine? How much would it increase horse power by. Would it increase anything else?

If you pull the spark arrestor out it will make a noticeable difference. I pulled mine and noticed a lot more power down low but it leaned out on the top end so I put a UNI filter and Dial-A-Jet in and now it's really strong down low and doesn't lean out. I'm waiting on my Hauck Clutch work to get back now and I'll be through modding this baby. I paid less than $5k out the door and have less than $225 in mods including the Hauck Clutchwork.

It will help, I put a raptor 350 quadmod k&n filter and billit adaptor on my buddys 08 450, no lid one up on the main jet and one up on the pilot stock pipe. You will need to cut the tabs out of the bottom of the box so the filter will fit. It works great.
