Opinoins on out running a 660 Raptor
Before you go dropping another grand in this bike, which will only do so much... you might consider trading up to a larger bike to build on. Just based on you just got this blaster and already are trying to push it to the limits, I think you may find the build-ability of this bike very limited. There are plenty of die hard blaster fans that wouldn't ride anything else, but if your power hungry, there's lots bigger bangs for your buck out there.

listen to all these guys. you will waste alot of money tryin' beef up a blaster to beat a raptor. sounds like you have some money to throw around so sell the blaster and by a 450. trust us, it will be money well spent. throw a slip-on and a k&n on it and you'll smoke his ***.

Just for an update: He can beat me on low end with what ive done to it, but the Blaster (believe it or not) starts pulling back on top end of 4th on through 6th. I beat him off the line on one pass, and he stutter shifted to bring the front end down and the Blaster won out. But, for now I only won one because he cant keep the Raptor down. I am also a much better rider, so no worries on the track (he just started riding sport quads about 6 months ago)........
Im thinking about giving it to the wife so another question:
I hate starters, and the only 450 that I know of that offers a kick is Honda's 450R, is there any other?
