'01 Yamaha warrior engine swap
Not much point in the Raptor unless the old one is shot, the Raptor motor is available and will bolt in easy because its almost the same . I dont know if the 400EX is a better motor but wont make enough more power to be worth it. TRX450 would prolly be lots of work and expensive plus it might fly but still wont handle good. If I were going to swap a Warrior motor with something else Id look into a air cooled 500 from a old ninja streetbike. I think they make something like 50hp and prolly rev way higher than a quad motor. They are air cooled cheap and Ive seen them in fairly unmodified frames. With the right gears I bet it would be rediculous fast.

Nothing is going to come close to fitting without some serious fabrication - and at that point it really doesn't make sense for the effort unless you're getting your parts for next to nothing, because the warrior's chassis and suspension isn't cut out for a huge powerplant. It can barely keep up with the stock engine.
