Default smoking 700 grizz

Hi yall I just bought a 700 grizz. And after the first ten Min. of riding i shut it off and it was smoking a little. Not enough to cause major concern but enough to notice. I was wondering Is it a under coating type of thing on it burring off after getting hot for the first time or something else
thanks alex

It was from the motor area and i found out what it was. either the coolant cap was left off or it was really loose.when i was turning coolant wascoming out the resivior and getting on the hot engine. But know i have a new question. I was giving my niece and nephew rides on it today about 100 yards taking turns prob. about 10 turns all together never running it over 20mph alternating my speed for the break in period (1.2 hours on it) any way when i turned it off and started packing it up i noticed a bubling noise comming from the engine area. It wasnt real loud and the thermostate lite indicating it was overheating never came on. So Is this NOMAL?
Thanks in advance alex

Sounds like the gas was gurgling... (also known as the gas boiling issue) If you ride at slow speeds for a decent amount of time, this can happen. It's nothing to be concerned about. If you feel it's getting too bad, you can replace the roll-over valve... Here's a link that you might want to check out...

Also, I would do a good once over on your bike, since the dealer could have half-assed something else during assembly if he can't even put a coolant cap on right...
