I was wondering what material nerf bars should i get? Steel, alloy, aluminum? Also Which brand is the best? Are they could for trail riding? Do they stick out very far? I need to know the general information on nerf bars. im considering them for my '96 warrior. thanks

I'd go for at least alloy. You can get them from AC racing as well as DG racing, Graydon Proline..a lot of diff companies make diff designs, all depends on what you like. They stick out to about the outside of you tires. If you do jumping or racing they are really helpful, even if you dont they are nice. Hope this helps. Some you remove the stock foot guards and some you leave them on. They should run from $120-$190

I bought AC's for my ex and they fit good.(i used to have a warrior so don't shun me) I think i paid around 100 to 120 for them. They shouldn't stick out any farther than your stock wheel/tire combo since mine lack about 6" per side of reaching my overall width. For aluminum they are strong too, I can step on them with no problem (265#) hope this helped.
