Default raptor 660 2003

hi i just wondering what the pilot adjustment should be set for carbs one and 2
having a problem when first applying throttle easy it seems to sputter as you increase the throttle it goes back to normal original setting for the carbs one is 3.25 turns and for carb 2 it was 2 turns can anyone help me thanks very much.

I see what you are wanting to know but what have you done to the quad. Mods? When did it start happenin?

the quad is fully stock i just bought it there is no modification thanks

raptor010 that sounds like one hell of a raptor i had one like it but no suspension mods one hell of a machine. Anyway if you plan to mod your raptor the best thing is to throw away those carbs and buy an edelbrock

Thanks Man. Yeah I've dumped alot of money it in. I've been in Iraq a few times so all I did was ebay for a whole year. The only thing with the Edelbrock is it's a 2 to 1 carb which slows down airflow alittle. Good thing about this Carb is it's fully adjustable from the outside after you get your needle right. Pretty sweet. Carb was around 450 dollars I think. It's been awhile. Next quad going in my garage is the YFZ450 after I get out of this tour in Iraq. That's going to be fun.

Seems like you aren't getting enough air. Try taking your airbox lid and filter off. Also change out your spark plug. Let me know. Take Care and Hard Ride!

the quad has no modification i just recently bought it but again low acceleration i have the spudering

thanks for the reply new plug air filter is spotless i talk to yamaha dealer my piolt jets are to lean should be 3.5 turns on 1 and 2.5 on 2 or more. again thanks for the help
