I always find the topics that say "How fast..?" and reply like 180mph. It's kinda my thing. : )

With stock gearing it dosent matter if you have 100hp you are not going to get any more than mid 50's unless you can get your engine to turn 18,000 rpm's. However I have done some porting to my blaster. there is a paved strip thats about 3 miles long close to where i ride and I did some playing with the gearing. I could only get it to around 70mph and that was after a LONG LONG time at WOT. Also with a low hp engine with tall gearing aero dynamics are pretty big Removing the front fenders gained about 5mph belive it or not. All speeds were off of GPS At 725ft above mean sea level 60F and 55% humidity.

Default blaster top speed

My wife has a 2001 200 cc blaster. This bike was rebuilt before I got it but I had it close to 60 mph and I weigh 245lbs. I had no idea this bike was so fast when I bought it for my wife.
